Late Summer Wildflowers

of Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden

Thumbnails of some of the late summer flowering plants that are not white, yellow or Yellow-Green that you may encounter on a visit between mid-July and Sept. 1st. Not all will be in bloom during this entire period of time; some are just ending their early summer bloom and some will just be starting in late August. See the separate page of thumbnails of white, yellow and yellow-green flowers. Also a separate page of thumbnails of easily noticed late summer fruits and seeds of selected plants. Alternate common names for plant are shown in ( ), woody plants designated by "*".
Plant names with web links lead to a separate page of plant information and photos on that plant.
