White-throated Sparrow (Zonotrichia albicollis)

White Throated Sparrow
This sparrow has a throat patch this is white or tan and a yellow spot above the eye. The head stripes come in two flavors - white or tan stripes alternate with black stripes. In Minnesota, the bird winters in the SE Counties that border the Mississippi River and spends the summers in the NE quadrant of the state.
