An erect plant, 1 to 2 feet high, with slightly hairy stems and the white petals as long or longer than the green sepals. Lower basal leaves have three, toothed leaflets, while the upper stem leaves are smaller toothed leaflets.

Notes: This plant is indigenous to the Garden area. Eloise Butler catalogued it on May 25, 1907. This plant is native to Minnesota and is found in most counties throughout the state except the Arrowhead and a few other scattered northern counties.
