Recognized by all gardeners, this non-native escapee from cultivation with it's lemon yellow color is a pretty sight against the background of green foliage on the central hill of the Upland Garden toward the end of June. It is listed on the USDA list as Hemerocallis lilioasphodelus L. rather than H. flava. |
